HERBAL THERAPY - Phytotherapy Western TCM
Phytotherapy Western TCM uses the classic Western range of medicinal herbs, which are available in pharmacies and drugstores. Prescriptions are made according to principles that are almost identical to those used in Chinese herbal medicine. Even in ancient times, herbalists such as Galen, Dioscorides, and Hippocrates described the medicinal plants of the West in terms of their taste, thermal properties, and energetic effects. The records show clear parallels to Chinese descriptions of medicines. The return to traditional Eastern, but also Western, roots and medicinal plants in the field of naturopathy has proven itself over several decades. Western TCM phytotherapy is a safe form of therapy. According to Western scientific criteria, medicinal plants are tested for origin, contamination, toxicity, side effects, and safety, and their effects have been observed in people from Western cultures.
